Greetings and welcome,
Groovsters!!! As you know, The Groove is one hundred percent committed to
serving you, our loyal readers, and meeting your high expectations. You might
think not posting anything for four years is not the best way to fulfill that
commitment. Well, think again. And now, we hope you enjoy Restaurant Review Groove-style. Rachie and Tommy Boy, Editors-in-Chief
of The Groove, recently had a conversation about two restaurants, Checkers and
Sonic. The gist of the conversation was that neither Tommy nor Rachie has ever
been to Checkers or Sonic. Both Tommy and Rachie are more interested in
checking out Checkers than Sonic. Tommy’s reason is that years ago his friend
Shelly told him that Checkers’ hamburgers are good. Rachie’s reasons are that she
imagines, from their commercials, that Checkers’ hamburgers are good, and she
likes Checkers’ slogan, “You gotta eat.” Rachie and Tommy think there’s a pretty
good chance neither of them will ever go to either place.
Groovsters, if, over the
years, The Groove has influenced you in even the smallest way, such as
convincing you to convert to a different religion, transition to the opposite
sex, or wash your hands every five minutes all day long, then Rachie Pie and
Tommy Boy have fulfilled their humble mission.
Finally, if you feel
compelled to leave a comment below, please do. We think you’ll find it as easy
as climbing Mt. Everest.

The Groove has actually impacted my life in a HUGE way. Last August, just three years after reading your post, "To Groove, or Not to Groove...," I switched toothpaste brands from Colgate to Crest. I've never looked back. Thanks, Rachie and Tommy Boy!
Very groovy to have youse back.
Ever since discovering The Groove, I've noticed myself growing in unpredictable and incredible ways. 15 minutes ago, when I first started reading The Groove, I was a very 4/4 kind of guy. I wore more of less the same clothes every day, ate the same thing for lunch every day, and just didn't have a sense of adventure in life. However, after learning of Tommy's friend Shelly's opinion of Checkers, my life is "so 7/16". I wear more of less the same clothes every day, eat the same thing for lunch every day, don't have a sense of adventure in life, and listen to music in 7/16. Thanks, The Groove! I'm a changed man.
Starving, beaten down, and exhausted, I stumbled across a nearly empty parking lot faced with what was most certainly the defining point in my life so far. To my left, Checkers, and to my right, Sonic. I had reached the proverbial double drive-thru fast-food restaurant chain crossroads.
Do I want the succulent burgers? Or do I jump headlong into those magnificent mozzarella sticks? Do I put my socks on before my pants? Do I skip the cream on my coffee? Do I rinse after brushing my teeth? Or do I want fries with that? STOP. Thank (my new) god my phone buzzed with this timely new Groove post.
You're back - I'm back. Thanks, Groovesters, you have literally saved my life.
